Jack Williams received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University. Perennially one of the top-ranked landscape architecture programs in the nation.
During college, he obtained his Landscape Horticulturist License and worked on various landscape projects in Louisiana. Upon graduation, he moved to Austin and worked with large landscape design-build firms as a designer and project manager.
A majority of his work is by word of mouth and referrals, which is a testament to his skills and accomplishments.
When not creating meaningful spaces, you’ll find him traveling with his family, teaching or writing.
He lives in Austin with his wife and two kids.
I’m a garden designer by trade. I understand the elements of design and know the importance of form and function in the landscape.
How do we do it? We will have conversations about your project. I’ll ask you meaningful questions. You’ll have homework (oh noooo!)--really it’s a landscape questionnaire form and you sharing your ideas with me. This helps our team get an idea of you and your space.
We won’t impose some wacky design or try to sell you some concept that you don’t want. We'll work up a plan together and specifically tailored for YOU!
We like helping people. Over the years, there’s been too many stories and walked on too many properties where the yards are a disaster. Failing retaining walls, flower beds that become an all-you-can-eat salad bar for deer, poorly done flagstone patios, wrong plant and tree selections...I want to share my years of experience and knowledge to help you.
We are not for everyone. If you’re looking for the lowest of three bids, check out another company. If you’re looking for a quick fix or a $1,000 sprucing before your house goes on the market, google someone else. However, if you’re looking for someone to create a meaningful, sacred space and design a plan tailored to YOU, then give us a call--we’re happy to help.
Bringing joy and happiness to people are why we do what we do--whether it’s creating a short video, on an improv stage or a designing a secret garden, the audience’s happiness is very fulfilling.
